Treating both horses and riders, I have seen many positive and often surprising results. Using my training and experience in chiropractic and background with horses, and learning Quantum Neurology from Dr. Gonzalez, I was able to take my treatments to a whole different level, accomplishing improvements in many conditions that I had not seen before.
Treatments are more advanced than the average chiropractic treatment; they include a thorough neurological along with a more structural evaluation. I utilize the LED light and other tools in the treatment and have seen significant improvements with:
Eosinophilic Granulomas, wound healing, Hunters Bump (sacroiliac joint subluxation) and similar noticeable subluxations of lumbar vertebrae. Amongst more common musculoskeletal problems, I see improvements in horses with limited flexibility in both the spine and extremities. A tight shoulder will restrict performance in most all disciplines, from simple to more advanced dressage maneuvers, a barrel racer making the tight turn around the barrel or the cutting horse having to shift it's weight rapidly from side to side.
It has been very interesting to have the opportunity to treat a wide variety of riders as well as horses. In the way we treat, in a rider, individual weak muscle groups are identified, tight joints are found and both subsequently treated. Results typically can be seen immediately and a riders ride will improve from there on. It has been my experience that most every rider, whether a casual trail rider, a competitive barrel racer or a grand prix level dressage rider, have weaknesses in parts of their body, most notably but not limited to, the core and lower extremities. Treatments improve these weaknesses and noticeably improve the riders performance on their horses.
Often I get called out to see a horse with a sore neck or back. Many times, what it really is, is a rider that is riding unevenly, compensating on one side or the other. Weaknesses, especially in the core or legs, will greatly compromise a riders capability to ride correctly and effectively. Without a strong and flexible core, the rider is not able to ride through the seat and will depend on inappropriate aids such as the legs, arms and an improperly positioned torso. This in turn, will affect the horse; amongst other problems, a tight neck or sore back is often the result.

My treatments with horses have taken me to many barns in both Europe and California. I have had the pleasure of treating some of the very best horses in the world, most notably warmbloods, arabians and quarter horses. To the right is a picture of the beautiful and talented warmblood stallion Blue Hors Romanov and below is Carol DiMaggios very beautiful arabian stallion Ta'Ez+// (Teddy), our 1998 US National Championship winner of Grand Prix Dressage and the Musical Freestyle Championship.

Below is a picture of Ima Charming Link (Charm), ridden by her owner Delaina Taketa, doing what they do best, barrels. Charm and Delaina are the winners of numerous awards, including being the first ever horse to win the California Speed Horse award 2 years in a row. Charm and Delaina won the National Barrel Horse Association event at Las Vegas in 2007. It was prior to this event that Charm was treated and subsequently went on to break her own record on the barrels several times, this all culminating in her big win at Vegas.
Last but not least, I have had the pleasure to treat some very special endurance horses. Amongst the favorites and top performers are JAC Chico's Fortune, or to those who have the privilege to know her, "Fanny". Fanny has nearly logged 3000 endurance miles, has many top ten placements and is a top 20 finisher of the 100 mile in one day Tevis Cup endurance ride. And she is still going strong, with many more miles to go.
